Cowboy Birthday Fun

My good friend Becky's son turned one a little while back. He was having a cowboy birthday party, and what perfect accessory that some snazzy cowboy boots. Using a shoe as a pattern, I got to work.

Tracing the little man's shoe and added a point for the boots.

Stitched and ready to go.

Sewing the boot part using the machine, everything else was hand sewn.

Then hand sewed a sole for the bottom.

Next I stitched a top piece and stitched it to the bottom. I added some black felt for the "steel" toe.

This was hardest, stitching the pieces together.

But in the end they turned out great!
